Vijaykumar Yo Mahesh, the southpaw from Chennai grabbed a lot of eyeballs on the domestic circuit with his ability to occasionally generate extra bounce. An all-rounder, he represents Tamil Nadu at the first-class level and has also played in the India Under-19 team.

Yo Mahesh is known to be an agile fielder and a handy batsman lower down the order. He performed well on India A’s tour of Zimbabwe and Kenya in 2007, which found him a place in the team for the home series against South Africa A. He was part of the Delhi Daredevils camp in the IPL for the first three seasons, but was later signed by the Chennai Super Kings in 2011.
